Elijah was a important prophet in the Hebrew Bible, he was known for a deviation to God, especially during a time when Israel was being heavily influenced by Idol worship. He preformed numerous miracles including but not limited to calling down fire from heaven and raising from the dead the son of a widow. He is recognized by  his confrontations with King Ahab and Queen Jezebel, where he advocated for the worship of Yahweh (God) alone.
